The Scottish Fiscal Commission is an agency of the Department of Economic Development and is headed by the Chief Commissioner of the Scottish Fiscal Commission. This agency is responsible for providing a forecast of taxes and social security expenditure under Scotland's control together with its GDP, to help inform the Scottish Government's budget and its scrutiny by the Scottish Parliament.
